The credit control function is commercially critical, and this role is central to it.
What’s the role?
You’ll take ownership of a defined ledger within a busy, revenue-generating practice group.
You’ll be responsible for:
*Managing high-value, high-volume client accounts
*Proactively driving cash collection performance
*Acting as the first point of contact for invoice queries
*Liaising with senior internal stakeholders and external clients
*Leading on complex query resolution
*Identifying risk and escalating appropriately
*Recommending process improvements to maximise cash flow
*Supporting colleagues during high-pressure periods
This isn’t a back-office processing role. You’ll be visible, you’ll influence outcomes, and you’ll build relationships across the business and externally with clients.
What do you need?
*2-3 years’ experience within credit control
*Experience managing high-value or high-volume ledgers
*Exposure to professional services or another fast-paced environment
*Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
*A target-driven, self-motivated mindset
*Solid negotiation and persuasion skills
