As a warehouse operative your main responsibility will be handling goods-in and goods-out to ensure customers receive their orders on time.
This work will be both busy and physical, including heavy lifting, unloading and carrying, therefore a good level of fitness essential.
Duties will also include paperwork, matching order forms to items for delivery, therefore a good level of accuracy is essential. All associated administration is required, you must be literate in both written and oral English.
We also require someone who is Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and who has good numeracy skills.
Additional duties will be use of a Forklift truck. Training can be given to a suitable candidate, however a FLT licence, peferably Bendi license would be very advantageous.
Education, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
*Good base of GCSEs or equivalent in literacy and numeracy
*5 years’ experience in warehousing / logistics (ideal but not mandatory)
