Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Senior Management Accountant to step into a broad, hands-on role where you will support senior stakeholders, influence commercial decisions, and play a key part in systems and reporting improvements. The role is designed with a clear progression path to Financial Controller.

Our client is a long-established, family-run, B2B retail company based in London. Following sustained year-on-year growth, the organisation is now strengthening its finance function to support the next phase of expansion and ensure long-term operational and commercial success.
Description
*Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets, with clear variance analysis and insight for senior stakeholders.
*Support ongoing enhancement of the ERP system (MS Dynamics 365) and broader systems development.
*Manage core month-end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Deliver commercial analysis across revenue, margins, and overall performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
*Build strong relationships across finance and non-finance teams, providing support and development to junior colleagues.
*Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, controls, and financial processes.
Profile
*Qualified CIMA / ACCA accountant, or equivalent.
*Strong management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting background.
*Confident owning P&Ls and producing clear, insightful reporting.
*Advanced Excel skills and strong overall systems/IT capability.
*Experience improving finance processes and supporting ERP or system implementations (knowledge with MS Dynamics 365 is desirable, not essential)
*Commercially minded with strong analytical ability and the confidence to challenge and explain financial data.
*Highly organised; able to prioritise, multitask, and maintain strong attention to detail.
*Proactive, solutions-oriented communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
*Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on experience.

*London based office, offering 4 days on site, 1 day work from home hybrid structure
