Finance Assistant | Hybrid | Telford | £26,000 – £28,000 | Full-time | Temp to Perm
Seymour John are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a growing manufacturing business based in Telford.
This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of home and office working, and is available on either a temporary or permanent basis. The position has arisen due to an immediate vacancy, with strong long-term potential for the right candidate.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day support to the finance function, ensuring accurate processing and effective communication across the business.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase orders
*Posting sales and purchase invoices onto the accounting system
*Preparing supplier payment runs
*Managing and monitoring the finance email inbox
*Assisting with basic reconciliations
*Supporting VAT and invoicing processes
*General administrative support within finance
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role
*Understanding of invoicing, VAT, and basic reconciliations
*Experience using accounting software
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
*Confident communication skills
*Proactive and reliable approach
Additional Information
*Working pattern: Hybrid
*Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience)
*Contract: Temporary initially, with the opportunity to become permanent
