Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools (Liverpool)

We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students across Liverpool. Whether you are an experienced TA or if you have a background in supporting children’s well-being and development, we want to hear from you!
Requirements:
*Previous work with teenagers (coaching, youth work, or classroom).
*Clear, confident, and patient speaking and writing skills.
*A calm, steady approach when students are having a tough day.
Key Duties:
*Helping students stay on track and engaged during core subjects.
*Leading focused intervention groups for Literacy or Numeracy.
*Guiding individual students who need an extra boost with their classwork.
*Explaining complex instructions in a simple, step-by-step way for learners.
*Promoting a positive and focused atmosphere in the classroom.
*Setting up equipment for Science, Art, or PE lessons.
*Ensuring student safety and positive social interaction during lunch and break times.
*Keeping brief notes on student successes to share with the Class Teacher.
