Waste & Recycling Canvasser – Brent Borough
£15.03 per hour (PAYE)
Temporary role until April – potential extension
Full UK Driving Licence Required (pool car provided)
Looking for an energetic, people-focused role where you can make a real impact? We’re recruiting Waste & Recycling Canvassers to engage directly with residents across Brent and help drive positive environmental change.
What You’ll Do
*Speak to residents face-to-face across the borough, promoting local waste and recycling services.
*Educate households on reducing food waste and improving recycling habits.
*Represent the service confidently and professionally at every doorstep.
*Travel to different areas of Brent using a pool car (clean licence preferred).
What You’ll Bring
*Strong background in sales, canvassing, or customer service (essential).
*Confident communicator who enjoys engaging with the public.
*Full UK driving licence – required for use of pool car.
*Flexibility to travel across the borough daily.
*Additional language skills welcomed.
*Knowledge of Brent and its communities is an advantage.
