Financial Accountant

An established and fast-paced FMCG manufacturing business is seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers exposure to a large, multi-entity environment with a particular focus on complex cash flow reporting and core financial accounting responsibilities.
The Role This position plays a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, while providing detailed cash flow forecasting and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities *Ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
*Preparation of financial statements in line with statutory and group requirements
*Complex cash flow forecasting, reporting and variance analysis
*Detailed balance sheet reconciliations and control
*Management of accruals, prepayments and journal postings
*Consolidation and group reporting submissions
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
*Strengthening financial controls and driving process improvements
*Supporting audit requirements and regulatory reporting
About You *ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist
*Strong technical financial accounting background
*Proven experience in complex cash flow management and reporting
*Experience within a large, fast-paced or manufacturing/FMCG environment
*High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
*Able to manage competing deadlines in a dynamic setting
