SEND Specialist Tutor - GwyneddFlexible Hours | Up to £30 per hour |
Prospero Teaching are looking for passionate and committed SEND Specialist Tutors to support learners across the Gwynedd area. This role offers the opportunity to step outside the traditional classroom and deliver meaningful, personalised one-to-one tuition to students with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and sensory needs.
You will play a key role in helping disengaged, at-risk or vulnerable learners re-engage with education, build confidence and make measurable progress.
The Opportunity As a SEND Specialist Tutor, you will:
* Plan and deliver tailored, multi-sensory lessons across a range of subjects

* Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs

* Track progress and adjust learning plans accordingly

* Work collaboratively with parents, carers and external professionals

* Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment that promotes independence and growth

Experience, Training and Qualifications * QTS or equivalent qualification

* Experience working with SEND learners

* UK classroom teaching experience

* A creative, adaptable and learner-centred approach

Eligibility Requirements * Right to work in the UK

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

* Two professional, child-related references
