Description
*Process payroll data accurately and efficiently in line with organisational policies.
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and statutory requirements.
*Assist in resolving payroll-related queries from employees and external stakeholders.
*Maintain up-to-date payroll records and documentation.
*Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure smooth payroll operations.
*Support the preparation and submission of payroll reports.
*Identify and address discrepancies in payroll calculations.
*Assist in implementing process improvements within payroll systems.
Profile
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
*Prior experience working in payroll or a related role within the Accounting & Finance sector.
*A solid understanding of payroll regulations and processes in the UK.
*Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
*Knowledge of payroll operations within the Not For Profit sector is desirable.
Job Offer
*An hourly rate between £13.00 and £15.00, depending on experience.
*Temporary position with the possibility of hybrid working arrangements.
