Job Description:
Are you an experienced Insurance professional with experience gained at a broker or insurer specialising in private medical insurance. If so, then this is an opportunity we feel you cannot let pass you by and can offer the right person a career defining move. We feel this would represent an excellent opportunity for you if you are currently an Account Handler, who is looking to move into a more Exec focused role. Ideally they are looking for someone who would be able to work from their London office at least 2 days a week, although they will also consider someone working fully remote if this is not something you are able to do.
Our client are a forward-thinking Insurance firm, and are now seeking to bring on board someone to manage an existing book of PMI business, currently standing at around 500 clients. This broker has grown impressively since their inception in 2016, and have big, exciting and innovative plans to develop the business going forward.
The role would consist of managing a portfolio of SME clients for Private Medical Insurance, dealing with mid-term adjustments and managing renewals from start to finish. You will also be responsible for assisting the managing partner here as well as a senior account exec with their administration.

As above you will be responsible for managing their existing PMI accounts, tasked with retention of these clients. This is mostly private individuals, but there are also some SME business clients as well as some overseas global clients too.
We would be keen to speak to you if you have a background in PMI insurance, along with a proven track record of sales or retentions within this insurance space. You will also ideally hold the CII, though they will consider those without the CERT CII if you have the background they are looking for!
They are also looking for someone who matches their values. They genuinely care about the service every client receives, and the attention to detail they give every customer, so you will need to share this ethos!
In return, the salary on offer is £35-42,500, plus 25 days holiday to start, private medical cover, death in service cover and a pension, annual performance based bonus, based on company and individual success, employee assistance program and an employee reward discount program too. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
