Job Description:
Key Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Pre-Delivery Inspector for one of the largest manufacturers of machinery in the world. This will be based in their parts & service depot in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Monday-Friday - 45hrs per week
£35,000 per year
Since first opening, our client has grown into a global brand with 25 manufacturing bases across the globe and 18 overseas regional headquarters, working with 8,000 suppliers and 400 dealers.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
*Inspecting machines when they arrive in the country to ensure the equipment meets the
*correct quality standards and accurately recording information of defects.
*Carryout visual inspections, take photos, complete relevant paperwork and update on
*the CRM system
*Carry out monthly stock inspections if machines are stored in the yard for set periods of
*Time
*Fit DataTag kits to machines and ensure all paperwork is complete and submitted to process
What you’ll need:
*Experience working with Heavy Plant equipment with some mechanical knowledge
*Being able to operate excavators, Telehandlers, Wheeled loading shovels in a safe manner is desirable although training will be given
*An eye for detail and a customer focussed approach to quality
*Basic knowledge of Excel / Word programmes and the ability to update the inhouse CRM system
A clean DBS check will be required due to machine DataTag security rules.
Full induction to the company is available to ensure you’re knowledgeable in your new
role.
