Job Description:
The Role: * Delivering personalised, 1:1 GCSE tuition (core subjects and/or specialist subjects)
* Adapting teaching strategies to support students with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and other additional needs)
* Supporting students working towards GCSE examinations
* Planning engaging sessions aligned with the national curriculum
* Tracking progress and providing feedback to parents, carers, and relevant professionals
* Sessions may take place in the home, school, or community settings
The Ideal Candidate: * Strong GCSE subject knowledge (QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring background preferred)
* Essential: Experience supporting students with SEN
* Confident adapting materials to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
* Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
