At Keoghs, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented ULR Claims Handler to join our friendly Corporate Risk & Casualty team in Liverpool. You don’t need years of experience — just the right attitude, strong organisational skills, and a passion for delivering great service.


We’ll provide the training, support and mentoring to help you build your expertise in motor claims handling.



What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll manage your own caseload of pre-litigated motor claims (up to £10,000), guiding each case from first notification through to settlement.

You’ll:
*Review claims and assess liability and value (don’t worry — we’ll train you!)
*Communicate with clients and third parties
*Negotiate settlements
*Identify cases that may be suitable for early litigation
*Keep accurate case records and data
*Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent service
*Support and learn from others in a collaborative team environment
This is a great opportunity to build technical knowledge, develop negotiation skills and gain exposure to the legal and insurance sectors.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:
*Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and email
*Strong customer service skills
*Excellent attention to detail

*Confident communicator
*Willingness to learn and support others
*Genuine interest in carving out a career in legal
Desirable (but not essential):
*Some knowledge of motor claims
*Understanding of liability, quantum, or Loss of Use / Standing Charge
