We’re looking for a highly organised Buyer to support day-to-day procurement activities and ensure continuity of supply within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will manage purchase orders, expedite suppliers, maintain order book accuracy, and work closely with internal teams to prevent shortages and keep production flowing smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage purchase orders, order books, and ensure ERP data accuracy.
*Chase and expedite suppliers to secure on-time delivery.
*Resolve delivery risks, shortages, and communicate recovery plans.
*Monitor supplier performance and support review activity.
*Collaborate with Planning, Production, Logistics, and Quality teams.
About You:
*Background in procurement, buying, or supply chain.
*Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers.
*Detail-focused, organised, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
*ERP/MRP experience essential; CIPS or relevant sector experience desirable.
