Job Description:
Petrel Limited, part of the Pioneer Safety Group (PSG) continues to grow, and are looking for our next driven and dynamic Sales Account Manager, who has experience in B2B in engineering or technical, ideally lighting, and Ex - hazardous industries.
About the Role:
As a key member of our small Sales team, you’ll be responsible for developing new business working with existing clients, and supporting distributor relationships both in the UK and internationally. This is an office-based role with occasional travel for customer visits and trade exhibitions.
What You’ll Do:
*Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various markets within the hazardous industry sector.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and distributors.
*Prepare and follow up on commercial offers and quotations.
*Support marketing initiatives including campaigns, promotions, and trade shows.
*Provide training and onboarding for distributors.
*Conduct market research and explore new geographical areas for expansion.
*Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
*Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and support order processing via ERP systems.
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience in engineering/technical sales or account management, in B2B environments.
*Strong commercial and technical acumen.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
*Ability to travel periodically, including overseas.
Desirable:
*Experience in direct sales of technical products.
*Knowledge of Ex or hazardous area industries.
*Electrical or electronic qualifications.
