Credit Controller Team Leader
*Annual Salary: £30k - £33k
*Location: Bristol
*Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid
We are seeking a Credit Controller Team Leader to oversee and enhance the effectiveness of our financial operations. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with all internal and external financial and auditing requirements, and for driving improvements across the business.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Ensure compliance with all financial and auditing standards, both internally and externally.
*Exercise due diligence, take corrective actions when necessary, escalate issues where appropriate, and provide necessary advice and support.
*Analyse data to identify and recommend areas for improvement in service delivery.
*Support and deputise for the manager as needed.
*Help build and develop the team in alignment with the organisation’s Purpose, Principles, and Ambition (PPA).
*Build and maintain effective relationships both within and outside the organisation.
*Identify and capitalise on opportunities to grow all aspects of the business profitably, contributing to effective budget control.
*Maintain professional behaviour, be receptive to feedback, and continually seek opportunities for learning and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in credit control and team leadership.
*Analytical and methodical approach to work with a keen attention to detail.
*Proficiency in computer use, with a high standard of numeracy and literacy.
*Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal and external relationships effectively.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
