We are looking for a Storeman/Delivery driver to join our friendly team based in the Chandlers Ford Bathroom Showroom.
Duties will include:
*Safely load and unload bathroom and kitchen equipment onto and from company vehicles, ensuring all goods are handled with care.
*Receive all deliveries into the stores and check goods accurately and promptly against delivery documentation.
*Inspect incoming stock for damage and verify quantities, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
*Print purchase orders and stock labels as required.
*Store and organise all deliveries neatly in their designated bays, ensuring correct labelling and efficient stock placement.
*Conduct weekly stock control checks to verify stock levels and ensure accurate and timely re-ordering.
*Assist with the annual stock take.
*Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
*Carry out general stores duties, including maintaining a clean and tidy stores area and car park.
*Manage on-site skips, ensuring waste is disposed of correctly to maximise recycling. Arrange skip collections when required.
*Complete customer deliveries, collect rubbish where necessary, and empty the van upon return to the showroom.
*Occasionally assist fitters on site (no plumbing work required).
*Unlock and secure the stores and car park as required.
*Assist with showroom displays when needed (no plumbing work required).
*Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the stores and stores office at all times.
*Ensure company vans are kept clean and washed as required.
*Complete weekly vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.
*Undertake any other reasonable duties as required from time to time.
Requirements
*Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
*A full, valid driving licence is required.
*Must be willing and physically able to carry out manual handling duties, as packages vary in size and weight.
*Competent in basic computer use.
*Able to work effectively as part of a team.
*Well organised, methodical, and capable of working independently using own initiative.


Working Hours
*Monday -Friday 8.30am – 5pm
*Holiday – 23 Days per annum plus bank holidays
*We are closed between Christmas and New Year. A portion of your annual holiday entitlement must be used during the Christmas period, as the company is closed between Christmas and New Year.
