Job Title: QTS English and Maths Tutor (Liverpool)
Location: LiverpoolPay Rate: £25 per hour (starting rate)
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week
Start Date: March 2026
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored, one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons to suit each student’s learning style.
* Adapt lesson content and pace to build student confidence in both subjects.
* Provide clear feedback to parents/carers and colleagues to track progress.
* Create a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages growth.
* Help students with revision strategies and exam techniques to ensure they are well-prepared.
Essential Requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
* Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring English and/or Maths, ideally at GCSE level.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
* Experience in tutoring both English and Maths at GCSE level.
