Housing Officer – Temporary | £30 per hour | Harlow

We’re looking for a dedicated and confident professional to join a busy Housing Management Team, delivering high-quality tenancy and estate services to residents across Harlow. What You’ll Be Doing
Acting as the main point of contact for tenants and leaseholders
Managing a varied caseload including ASB, neighbour disputes, successions, assignments, and tenancy breaches
Carrying out estate inspections and tackling health, safety, and environmental concerns
Working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver joined-up support
Supporting new tenants at sign-ups and offering guidance on housing options, transfers, and mutual exchanges
Maintaining accurate case records and attending meetings, panels, and court when required
What We’re Looking For
You must have previous experience working as a housing officer!
Experience in tenancy and estate management
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Confident handling ASB and complex casework
Someone organised, proactive, and customer-focused
A team player who can also manage their own workload effectively
