This is an exciting opportunity to join a well regarded London Market insurer with a strong and growing Delegated Authority function. Sitting at the heart of the business, you will support the Delegated Underwriting Manager in ensuring delegated arrangements operate in line with Lloyd’s Principles and internal governance standards.

You will gain broad exposure across underwriting, compliance, claims and finance, playing a key role in due diligence, reporting and oversight. With real visibility across the business and hands on involvement in core delegated processes, this role offers an excellent platform to build a long term career in Delegated Authority.

Key responsibilities
*Support the administration and oversight of coverholder due diligence processes
*Complete Lloyd’s pre bind quality assurance reviews and general contract reviews in line with agreed service standards
*Assist with the audit process including scheduling, reviewing audit reports and tracking remedial actions
*Oversee the receipt and processing of bordereaux including mapping and validation where required
*Maintain and circulate coverholder information held within Lloyd’s systems including ATLAS and DCOM
*Produce delegated underwriting information for monthly management packs and regulatory returns
*Prepare conduct related management information and assist with regulatory reporting
*Review data submitted by coverholders and highlight trends or issues
*Liaise regularly with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Compliance teams to ensure effective oversight
*Attend relevant market meetings and keep up to date with regulatory and operational developments impacting delegated underwriting


Experience required
*Experience working within a Delegated Underwriting or Delegated Authority role
*Strong understanding of Lloyd’s reporting requirements and the Principles for doing business
*Good analytical ability with confidence handling data and management information
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
*Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively across teams
