We are currently seeking to appoint a Level 2 or above Nursery Practitioner at a warm and nurturing early years setting in Knowsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for early childhood development and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
*Support the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities
*Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
*Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
*Promote children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development
*Work effectively as part of a dedicated team to maintain high standards of care
*Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are always followed
Candidate Requirements:
*Hold a recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, BTEC)
*Eligible to work in the UK
*Previous experience working in an early years setting
*Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Warm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children
*Two professional references relating to work with children
*A current Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
