Finance Manager - High-Growth Product-led Business - On-site
A high-growth, product-led business is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to support its next phase of expansion. Operating across the UK and Europe with an in-house design function and outsourced manufacturing model. This is a rare opportunity to join a successful, fast-moving organisation with a loyal team, ambitious growth plans, and a down-to-earth culture. The role offers the chance to work closely with the Finance Director and to step into a position with real ownership and impact.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for core financial control, month-end delivery and system/ERP integrity, ensuring the business maintains strong financial governance as it continues to professionalise its operations.
You’ll be the key link between finance and the wider business, supporting commercial, supply chain, purchasing and operational teams while overseeing day-to-day accounting activity.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly management accounts
*Lead full month-end close (journals, prepayments, accruals)
*Produce accurate balance sheet reconciliations
*Maintain robust financial controls and audit-ready files
*Support budgeting and forecasting activities
*Become the internal expert on the company’s ERP system
*Manage data integrity, workflows and troubleshooting
*Support future ERP transformation projects
*Identify automation and process-improvement opportunities across finance
*Strengthen internal finance controls and governance
*Manage UK VAT processes and coordinate EU VAT via external partners
*Support corporation tax, R&D claims and audit preparation
*Coordinate outsourced UK and EU payroll
*Oversee AP, AR, expenses and credit control
*Provide guidance to junior finance staff
*Ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations
*Work closely with commercial, customer service, purchasing, warehouse and supply chain teams to support decision-making.
The Person
About You
Essential*Qualified / Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) – QBE also considered
*Strong management accounting and finance operations background
*Excellent reconciliation and accuracy skills
*ERP systems experience, with a desire to improve processes
*Supportive leadership style
*Proactive, organised and calm under pressure
Desirable*Experience of ERP upgrades or implementations
*Exposure to multi-territory VAT and payroll
*Interest in supporting commercial reporting
