We’re looking for a Sports Coach / Personal Trainer to join a fantastic Alternative Provision, working with young people who benefit from a more personalised, practical, and supportive approach to education.
This role is perfect for someone with strong behaviour-management skills, a positive mindset, and a genuine passion for helping pupils grow in confidence through physical activity.
What you’ll be doing:
*Leading engaging sports, fitness, and wellbeing sessions
*Acting as a positive role model for students with additional or complex needs
*Supporting pupils with confidence-building, teamwork, and resilience
*Creating safe, motivating, and inclusive activity spaces
*Building strong, trusting relationships with learners who may have had barriers to mainstream education
What we’re looking for:
*Experience in coaching, personal training, PE support, or youth mentoring
*A proactive, patient, and energetic approach
*Confidence working with challenging behaviours
*Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference
*Relevant qualifications (or strong experience within sport/fitness coaching)
