This is a hands on Junior mechanical engineer role where you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, learn on modern industrial equipment, and develop valuable skills within a forward-thinking company that invests in its people.

As a Junior mechanical engineer, you’ll support maintenance and repair activities across the site while gaining exposure to a wide range of mechanical systems.

Your Role As A Junior Mechanical Engineer:
*Assisting engineers with planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
*Supporting fault finding on conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
*Site based role in Sittingbourne, supporting smooth day to day operations
*4 on 4 off shift pattern, days and nights (12-hour shifts)

You’ll Need As A Junior Mechanical Engineer:
*Previous experience in a mechanical, maintenance, or engineering environment (industrial or manufacturing preferred)
*A practical, hands on attitude and willingness to learn
*Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and support senior engineers
*Basic mechanical knowledge, welding, hydraulics, or pneumatics experience is advantageous
