Description
The Legal Counsel position based in Berkshire will involve the following tasks:
*Negotiating and drafting commercial contracts in relation to both procurement functions and customer contracts
*Drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements
*Supporting with legal, compliance and risk management tasks
*Advising the business on the risks and opportunities these present
*Working closely with a range of internal and external key stakeholders
*Supporting with company secretarial matters including filings at Companies House
*Assist with any IP related matters where required
Profile
The successful candidate for the Legal Counsel position should have the following skills and experience:
*Be a qualified solicitor or hold an equivalent qualification
*Have previous in-house experience of managing commercial contracts
*Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills for legal documents and contracts
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
*Excellent communication skills
Job Offer
This is an interim position for at least 3 months.
The role is predominately office based, but has the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week.
