An established and impressive manufacturer is one the lookout for a Buying Coordinator in their offices in Tonbridge.
In a creative and artistic industry, they are a hardworking and collaborative team that prides themselves on ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment. Working closely across internal teams, your role would be a varied one striving towards new product launches, seamless onboarding and management of new and existing products to add to their high-end, internationally supplied interiors brand.
Duties
*Identifying market trends, customer needs and gaps in the product range
*Collaborating with designers, engineers and suppliers to develop new collections
*Managing the product lifecycle from concept through to launch
*Coordinating launch timelines, strategy and market plans
*Sourcing new materials, components and partners
*Implementing procurement processes to improve efficient and reduce risk
*Creating product guidelines
A successful candidate for this role will be able to blend creativity with commercial thinking in a mixture or design and data driven decision making. Tis would suit someone from a creative industry (fashion, furniture, interiors, architectural products etc) who understands trends and visuals but can work strategically for maximum results.
