Area Sales Manager
Location: Dewsbury (National Travel Required)
Salary: DOE + commission

The Role
A long standing UK business within the materials-handling industry is seeking multiple Area Sales Managers to support a major expansion initiative. You will play a key role in driving new business wins across the UK, backed by strong technical products and an engaged senior leadership team.
This role blends new business generation with account management, although the focus is on proactively winning new clients. Sales cycles typically repeat every few years, so building trust and long-term relationships is essential.
Key Responsibilities
*Identify, target and win new business across industrial, manufacturing and warehouse-based sectors
*Manage and grow existing accounts through consultative, solution-focused sales
*Present a range of materials-handling equipment, including modern lithium-powered options
*Conduct client visits, site surveys, demonstrations and commercial negotiations
*Work closely with senior leadership to execute sales strategy
*Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline visibility
*Represent the business professionally at client meetings and industry events
About You
*Proven track record in industrial B2B sales (plant hire, materials handling, engineering, manufacturing or similar)
*Strong experience in new business development
*Comfortable selling technical or solution-based products
*Confident communicator with commercial awareness
*Self-motivated and able to manage a national territory
*Full UK driving licence
