Driver - Temporary Assignment
Location: Deeside
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Dates Required: 24th-25th February
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to support our client in Deeside on a short-term assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, maintaining accurate delivery records, and supporting warehouse operations where required.
Key Responsibilities
*Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations.
*Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery timings or potential delays.
*Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are correctly secured for transport.
*Carry out routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
*Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
*Support warehouse activities such as inventory management and general organisation.
*Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.
Requirements
*Previous experience in a driving or delivery role is desirable.
*Full, valid UK driving licence.
*Strong communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
*Good level of physical fitness for loading/unloading duties.
