Job Description:
Meraki Talent is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast-paced financial services organisation in the City of London. This is a true generalist role where you’ll partner with managers across the business, support complex employee relations matters, and ensure HR policies and practices align with regulatory and employment law requirements.
THE ROLE:
*Writing, reviewing, and updating HR policies and procedures in line with regulatory and employment law changes
*Supporting and coaching line managers on people matters and best practice
*Managing end-to-end employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance, and absence
*Leading and supporting investigations and formal hearings
*Supporting recruitment activity, including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding
*Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
*Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance within a regulated environment
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
*Proven HR advisory experience within financial services (essential)
*Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
*Experience running grievances and disciplinaries end-to-end
*Supporting with policy changes
*Confidence working with line managers and senior stakeholders
*A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
*Excellent communication and influencing skills
*CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable
