Location: YO24
Hours: 30 hours per week / 6 hour shifts
Shift: Evenings / Monday to Friday
Pay Rate:£12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time / Temporary to Permanent
About the Role We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a school in the YO24 area. You’ll play an important part in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities *Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal spaces
*Sanitising toilets and washrooms
*Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and general dusting
*Emptying bins and managing waste appropriately
*Replenishing consumables such as soap and paper towels
*Using cleaning products and equipment safely
*Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures
About You *Ideally you will have an Enhanced DBS
*Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required
*Strong attention to detail
*Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently
*Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
*Professional and positive attitude
*Must pass (or be willing to undergo) an enhanced DBS check
