Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our Child Health & Disability Team has arisen in Cardiff. The team is currently operating on a mixed - working from home, agile and within local office space (County Hall).
You will need:
* A Degree or Masters in Social Work Diploma in SW (or equivalent).
* Experience of working within a Child Health & Disability Team
* Experience of working as part of multi-disciplinary team around children The main duties of the post holder will be:
* Working alongside a multi-agency team of professionals, in partnership with families.
* To use the Signs of Safety approach to underpin social work practice
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective systems to ensure quality services.
* Complete Wellbeing Assessments, child protection enquiry and develop and review care and support plans.
* Working in a multiagency capacity to support families
* Attendance at Child Protection Conferences, Children who are Looked After Review and Court may be required.
* Provide specialist advice and support across the wider children’s services team in respect to children with additional needs.
* Participate in the team duty rota.
* Participate in regular team meetings.
* Demonstrate a high level of good quality written and verbal practice.
