Job Description:
Role: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Location: Doncaster (Mexborough)
Salary: £48,000 (£52,800 with bonus)
Shifts: 4 on 4 off - 2 Days 2 Nights
Industry: Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:
*Perform routine scheduled PPMs (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and respond promptly to equipment faults and breakdowns, ensuring all tasks are documented.
*Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery, gaining in-depth knowledge to train other team members effectively.
*Diagnose breakdowns and apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve issues effectively.
*Fit new parts as needed and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly post-maintenance.
*Handle emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs, as well as support new installations.
Requirements:
*Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ-based) or higher in Mechanical Maintenance.
*Strong understanding and knowledge of health and safety protocols.
This role is commutable from: Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Wakefield, Worksop, Leeds, Huddersfield
