Job Description:
Role – National Accounts Manager
Salary - £46k
Location – Buckinghamshire
I’m currently supporting a leading client in Buckinghamshire looking for a National Accounts Manager. The ideal candidate will possess FMCG experience.
What you’ll be doing
The ideal candidate will profitably manage the trading relationships of the company with these customers and promote the company’s solutions to achieve mutually beneficial results.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
*Develop trusted relationships across your portfolio of customers meeting with buyers and key decision makers.
*Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
*Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
*Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams ensuring a seamless service
*Learn and develop a full understanding of the channel of responsibility, building knowledge of contacts, associations, market position and strategy
*Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with the complaints to maintain trust
*Play an integral part in generating new sales using market data and your analytical skills
*Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using account metrics which will include a monthly channel review update to the senior management team at which you are required to demonstrate in depth knowledge of your account portfolio
The Ideal Candidate:
*Proven experience within an FMCG environment/selling FMCG brands
*Experience of providing solutions based on customer needs

*Excellent communication skills with both finance and non-finance professionals
*Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
*Excellent analytical and organisational skills with an upbeat positive attitude
*Conscientious self-starter with a strong commitment to team working and a passion for selling iconic brands
