Job Description:
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a flexible, part time temporary role where you can take full ownership of the finance function?
We are working with a well established and friendly organisation who require a confident, hands on Bookkeeper to support them during a busy period. This role would suit someone who enjoys working independently, keeping finances organised and up to date, and being the go to person for day to day accounts.
The RoleYou will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day to day finance operations.
Duties will include:
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Credit control
• Preparing and posting journals
• Managing accruals and prepayments
• VAT returns
• Assisting with month end reporting
• Liaising with external accountants where required
• Supporting payroll processes if required
About You
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar
• Confident managing accounts through to trial balance
• Comfortable working independently
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Available immediately or on short notice
