Job Description:
Are you a Part-Qualified Accountant looking to step up into a Management Accountant role?
Marks Sattin is partnering with a fast-growing, multi-award-winning developer in East Leeds to find a Management Accountant.
The Role Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will move beyond retrospective testing and take full ownership of the reporting function. This is a high-visibility role where your work directly impacts board-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
*Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed cost-variance analysis of construction overheads.
*Technical Accounting: Take the lead on key monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with the annual statutory accounts and external audit process.
*Tax & Compliance: Gain hands-on experience in industry-specific tax, including VAT and CIS returns.
*Commercial Projects: Participate in cross-functional projects, including system implementations, capital allowance workings, and banking analysis.
*Board Packs: Compile and prepare essential financial data for the Board of Directors.
Who are you? * Part-Qualified: Ideally in the final year of your ACA/ACCA training contract.
*The Background: You are currently working in an accountancy practice and are ready for a more "hands-on," commercial challenge.
