Our Client
Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with a renowned European organisation in their search for a Business Partner.
The role
The Business Partner supports corporate functions and focuses on translating business strategy into effective people plans, driving performance, engagement, and organisational development. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, the position provides strategic HR guidance, uses data-led insights to influence decisions, and collaborates closely with wider HR teams to deliver a cohesive people service.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Strategic Planning - Develop people plans that support business goals, growth, and transformation. Partner with leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, and succession.
*Leadership Support - Coach and advise senior leaders on people matters and organisational challenges. Build leadership capability and accountability.
*People Analytics - Use workforce data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Monitor KPIs such as turnover, engagement, and diversity, recommending targeted actions.
*HR Collaboration - Work with specialist HR teams to deliver high-quality, integrated people solutions. Ensure alignment across recruitment, learning, reward, and employee relations.
*Engagement & Culture - Build strong relationships across functions to identify needs proactively. Champion engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives. Ensure compliance with policies and employment legislation.
*Change & Transformation - Lead or support organisational change programmes, including restructures and process improvements. Support effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout change activity.
*Project Leadership - Lead key people-related projects as required.
Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate some if not all of the following:
*Experience as an HR/People Business Partner, ideally within corporate/enabling functions.
*Strong grounding in key HR disciplines: talent, employee relations, organisational development.
*Comfortable using HR systems (Workday or similar preferred).
*Skilled in interpreting and presenting data to influence decisions.
*Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.
*CIPD qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
