Robertson Bell is partnering with a leading charity organisation, is seeking an experienced part-time accountant to support their finance team during the year-end process. This is a temporary role to help bring the organisation’s balance sheets up to date and assist with the production of statutory accounts.
Key responsibilities:
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounts are up-to-date
*Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with the audit team
*Contribute to the strategic report as needed
*Provide general accounting and finance support to the small finance team
The ideal candidate will have:
*Several years’ experience in a similar accounting/finance role, ideally within the charity sector
*Strong technical accounting skills and familiarity with year-end processes
*Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
*Good communication and stakeholder management skills
*Flexibility to work 3 days per week remotely with occasional on-site attendance
