Business Development Manager – Part time (15–20 hours per week)
£50,000+ (pro rata)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a thriving design agency based in Leicester.
This is a newly created position within an agency that has achieved solid year-on-year growth and is now looking to accelerate this with the key appointment of a Business Development Manager. The agency works with a plethora of high-profile brands, mainly within the retail space — from global multinationals to up-and-coming start-ups.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle: from handling new incoming leads and developing a target strategy, to pitching and presenting to new clients, nurturing relationships, and building strong long-term partnerships.
What would you be working on?
· Working with the MD to create a new business strategy and identify target clients
· Sourcing new leads through networking, social media and events, alongside support from a new business agency
· Managing and developing relationships with your lead generation agency
· Building excellent relationships with potential clients and nurturing them throughout the sales cycle
· Managing the pitch process and attending meetings with prospective clients, providing insight and advice in relation to their strategic objectives
They are looking for a candidate who:
· Has solid business development / sales experience within an agency environment (design, marketing, branding, etc.) and is used to engaging senior stakeholders
· Could come from an agency BDM background, or be a Senior Account Manager or Account Director with new business experience looking to specialise in this area
· Has a tenacious attitude and the ability to get stuck in — generating leads, developing relationships, arranging meetings, and pitching and presenting
