Job Description:
EHC Plan Writer
Contract: Interim – Initial 3 months
Location: Remote
Rate: £200 per day (umbrella) (£152 PAYE per day)
Hours: Full time
We are supporting a Local Authority in the East Midlands to recruit an experienced EHC Plan Writer on an interim basis. This is a fully remote opportunity focused purely on writing, with no caseworker responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
*Produce high-quality, compliant Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
*Lead on plan amendments and annual reviews
*Ensure documentation meets statutory requirements and deadlines
*Work efficiently to manage a high-volume caseload of plans
Requirements:
*Proven experience writing EHCPs within a Local Authority setting
*Strong background in amendments and annual reviews
*Ability to produce clear, accurate plans at pace
*Experience using Idox is desirable
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced EHCP writers seeking a flexible, remote contract with a competitive daily rate and a focused scope of work.
