Job Description:
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (Over 7 days)
Working hours: 8am - 8pm

Location: Mitcham

Essential: Driving licence and Counterbalance Forklift License

Permanent contract


Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient Goods Management: Accurately book goods into the system and generate bar code labels to ensure smooth tracking and identification.

• Document Control: Ensure all received documents accompanying goods are complete and correct, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Department by providing correct paperwork for lot-tracked items, ensuring goods are released for production through Navision.

• Repair and Return: Prepare advice notes for repair and return items, facilitating seamless processes for our valued customers.

• Customer Returns: Utilize Navision to book customer returns and promptly communicate with the Quality Department for necessary actions.

• Material and Stock Management: Oversee the management of all bought-in items, such as stationery, ensuring optimal availability and organization.

• Sundry Items: Be responsible for the stock management of miscellaneous items, keeping everything in order and readily accessible.

• Accurate Order Verification: Thoroughly check all received goods against the order to maintain quality control and customer satisfaction.

• Efficient Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently handle the loading and unloading of deliveries for despatch, utilizing your forklift skills.

• Smooth Material/Packing Movement: Facilitate the seamless flow of production materials and packing, ensuring timely availability.

• Effective Packaging Placement: Strategically place packaging in designated production areas, optimizing accessibility for smooth operations.

• Order Packaging: Accurately pick packaging materials for all orders, ensuring prompt fulfillment of customer requirements.

• Tool Management: Pick and transport tools between different areas as needed, contributing to a well-equipped and efficient work environment.

• Forklift Maintenance: Conduct daily maintenance checks on forklift equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and safety compliance.

• Stock Checks: Perform weekly stock checks in designated areas to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Comprehensive Stock Audits: Conduct complete stock checks as and when required by the management, contributing to reliable stock control.


Secondary Responsibilities:

• Order Verification: Double-check received goods against the order to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.

• Adaptable Support: Be prepared to undertake additional responsibilities assigned from time to time, contributing to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

• Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain general housekeeping in the warehouse area, creating a safe and organized working environment.
