Job Description:
My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Director of Local Government Reorganisation on a Contract basis.
This role provide strategic direction and leadership for the Local Government Reorganisation portfolio of programmes
Local Authority experience is essential
About the role:
Based in Greater London (remote):
*Ensure a safe, legal and well-planned transition to the new operating model, minimising service disruption and maintaining a focus on improved outcomes and long-term sustainability.
*Lead and develop the system Portfolio Management Office and coordinate all programmes and workstreamsworkstreams.
*Set and maintain the strategic roadmaproadmap, critical path and milestones.
*Build effective working relationships with Leaders, Members and Chief Executives.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
*Extensive experience delivering Local Government transformation / reorganisation.
*Deep PMOPMO experience, including set up and delivery.
*Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
*Local Authority experience is essential.
What’s on offer:
*Salary: £1,000+ per day, inside IR35
IR35*negotiable based on experience
