Service Manager - Join the Leadership Care Delivery Team !
Location: Carlisle & Wigton
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Are you a passionate leader dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities? One of our client is looking for a Service Manager to join our service lead team. This is a pivotal role where you will balance effective staff management with the coordination of high-quality community activities and professional care delivery.
The Role
As Service Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager and lead a team of Team Leaders, Support Workers, and Volunteers. Your mission is to ensure our vision of enriching and supporting the lives of individuals with disabilities becomes a reality every day.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leadership: Coordinating, attending, and chairing staff meetings, and managing team performance through direct supervision and mentoring.
Service Delivery: Developing effective rotas for community activity provision and outreach support, ensuring person-centered plans are followed and updated.
Compliance & Safety: Monitoring quality through audits and staff observations to meet CQC and Adult Social Care requirements.
Direct Support: Providing support worker cover and direct care provision when required to ensure the smooth running of our services.
On-Call Support: Participating fully in the organizational on-call rota to support staff and resolve issues.

Experience: Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate activities within a social care setting.
Skills: Strong organizational skills for rota management and the ability to mentor staff in record-keeping and session planning.
Flexibility: While typical hours are full-time, flexibility is required to occasionally cover early starts, evenings, and weekends based on business needs.
Requirements: Must have DBS on the update service and willing to drive vehicle as required.
