Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic Sales department within the Commercial function. This role is crucial for providing operational support and ensuring the smooth execution of sales processes.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in servicing an expanding portfolio with our key customers and ensuring all activities align with our service level agreements (SLAs) and industry standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Work closely with National Account Managers and Relationship Managers in the Direct Sales team to grow and service key customer accounts.
*Process tenders and related information in accordance with guidelines and SLAs.
*Collaborate with other Support teams to ensure confirmations are completed within certified standards.
*Work to KPIs to ensure tenders meet their deadlines and maintain the relationship between Sales and other departments.
*Perform data validation, ensuring all data is cleansed before entering into in-house systems with high attention to detail.
*Process acceptances, including loading, pricing, and scanning in accordance with guidelines and SLAs.
*Provide both general and bespoke administrative support to the sales team and direct customers.
*Manage credit checks for the sales team in accordance with SLAs.
*Liaise daily by telephone with customers, consultants, and Account Managers to assist with queries and enquiries.
*Update and maintain various logs, send reports to customers as requested, and manage any required reports to complete within the specified SLA.
*Conduct regular Health & Safety inspections of your team’s working areas.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
*Intermediate level experience in Excel.
*Strong administrative and IT skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*High level of attention to detail.
*Commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of the job role.
