Job Description:
My client a City boutique law firm are currently looking for a Billing Administrator to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist with daily invoicing duties, including raising draft narratives for Partner review, finalising narratives, raising invoices, and uploading invoices onto client portals.
*Provide cover for the Billing and Credit Control Manager, working closely with the Credit Controller to resolve client issues.
*Support the Finance Team with administration and ad hoc projects, such as uploading disbursement and overhead invoices, assigning disbursements on Clio, managing the Accounts mailbox, and producing reports for Partners and Senior Teams.
*Liaise with clients’ finance teams to ensure smooth client and vendor setup.
*Manage and update the Health & Wellbeing tracker for expense claims related to allowances, flu jabs, and eye tests.
*Respond to client queries promptly and maintain high levels of client service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of two years’ experience in a credit control environment, with billing experience being essential.
*Experience working within a professional environment, preferably legal or accountancy.
*Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
*Good interpersonal skills, capable of communicating effectively with both fee earners and non-fee earners.
*Flexible and adaptable approach with a proactive, can-do attitude.
*High level of discretion with confidential matter
9-5.30pm working hours
1-2 days in the office
