Account Manager
*Annual Salary: Up to £35k
*Location: Exeter (office-based)
*Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking an account manager to manage and enhance relationships within a regional network of clients. This role is crucial for ensuring that our client’s partners receive outstanding support, favourable commercial terms, and maintain high-quality service standards. You will be instrumental in analysing performance, resolving issues, and collaborating across departments to continuously elevate engagement, availability, and service levels.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Build and maintain robust relationships through regular calls, meetings, and emails.
*Conduct frequent account reviews to ensure partners are supported and aligned with company processes.
*Travel to meet partners in your region, providing detailed feedback to internal teams.
*Deliver training, updates, and engagement activities to enhance performance.
*Present trends, financials, and insights to senior team members.
*Identify supply chain risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
*Provide data and reporting for reviews.
*Ensure all systems and internal notes are accurate and up to date.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in relationship management or a similar role.
*Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
*Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
*Commercial awareness with a good understanding of negotiation and performance metrics.
*Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
*A positive, proactive attitude focused on excellent service delivery.
*Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and support team members.
*Adaptable and calm under pressure.
