Our client, a successful Companybased in Derby areseeking an experienced Civil / Structural Design Engineer to join their well established, supportive team.
The successful candidate will be involved in the design and delivery of civil and structural engineering solutions across a variety of projects, working in accordance with British Standards and Eurocodes.
Starting salary flexible depending on experience, up to around £43k.


Key Responsibilities of Civil / Structural Design Engineer position to include:
*Carry out civil and structural engineering design and analysis.
*Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
*Produce and review structural drawings and details.
*Design using reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and timber where applicable.
*Ensure designs comply with BS and Eurocodes and relevant UK regulations.
*Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other design team members.
*Respond to technical queries and provide support during construction.
*Attend meetings and site visits as required.
The ideal Civil / Structural Design Engineer will have:


*Experience in a civil or structural engineering role.
*Experience working in accordance with British Standards and Eurocodes.
*Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
*Experience with structural analysis and design software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, Cads, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
*Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative.
*Strong communication skills.
*Familiarity with BIM processes and coordination (desirable.)
*Full UK driving licence (essential for site work).
