Deputy Manager
Location: Ashford
Salary: £39,357.24 - £47,821.80
About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join a children’s residential home. You’ll lead and support a team of Residential Care Workers, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for young people with complex needs. You’ll also step in to manage the home when the Registered Manager is away.
What You’ll Do
*Lead, mentor, and develop your team
*Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and case management
*Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment
*Communicate with families, local authorities, and other professionals
What You’ll Need
*Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*Experience in children’s residential care with supervisory responsibilities
*Knowledge of Quality Care Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations
*Calm, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with young people
