Job Description:
Sales Manager required for well established, successful and reputable business. The successful applicant will have a proven Sales Management background within B2B for this role selling to a wide range of industries including education, hospitality and healthcare. Applicants will also be considered for those with some leadership experince seeking their first step into Sales Management.
The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement a sales strategy, win new business with the team whilst performance managing the Field Sales and Internal Sales teams to help them deliver sales and profit growth objectives.
Duties will include developing a culture of winning and keeping business, win new key customers and maintain a robust sales pipeline, developing and maintain existing Key Customers. Reviewing sales plans, territories, activities and pipeline annually to ensure sales resources are used in most effective manner. Develop professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand. Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Salary £55k - £70k pa plus bonus and benefits.
