Job Description:
Business Accounting & Advisory Executive
Central London | Hybrid Working
We are partnering with a well-established and growing London-based accountancy firm seeking an ambitious Executive to join its Business Accounting & Advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their exposure across statutory accounts, outsourcing and advisory within a high-quality and progressive environment.
You will join a collaborative team delivering services to a varied portfolio of corporate clients across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101, FRS 102, FRS 105)
* Preparation of management accounts for outsourcing clients
* VAT return preparation and submission
* Bookkeeping using Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
* Liaising with auditors and supporting year-end processes
* Basic corporation tax computations
* Managing client relationships and acting as day-to-day contact
* Identifying value-add and cross-selling opportunities
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Managing time, budgets and multiple assignments effectively
Requirements:
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge
* Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing client assignments
* Confident working across multiple accounting software platforms
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Commercial mindset and proactive approach to client service
This role would suit a recently qualified or post-qualified accountant looking to step into a broader advisory-focused position within a firm offering structured progression, strong technical exposure and long-term development opportunities.
