The Vision

We aren’t looking for someone to simply "maintain" an existing service - instead you’ll be instrumental in establishing a new care provider by helping build and run the service, long-term. This is a rare opportunity to influence the design, the team, and the culture of a home before the first child even walks through the door.

*Leadership & Culture: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a brand-new staff team, fostering a culture of empathy, clinical excellence, and mutual respect.
*Child-Centered Care: Develop bespoke care and support plans that prioritize the rights, voices, and individual needs of every child.
*Operational Excellence: Manage the home’s budget, conduct rigorous quality audits, and maintain high-level safeguarding protocols..
Requirements
*Proven Track Record: Substantial experience managing a residential children’s home (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management is essential).
*Setup Experience: Ideally, you have experience opening a new home or taking a service through an Ofsted registration process.
*Specialist Knowledge: A deep understanding of learning disabilities, trauma-informed care, and current safeguarding legislation.
*Communication: Exceptional ability to advocate for children and lead a team through the pressures of a new startup.
About You
The team are looking for a leader who stays when things get difficult - someone who views this not as a job, but as a long-term commitment to changing life trajectories. Ideally, you’ll have have previous experience in opening new homes, and delivering quality care to vulnerable children.

The service are looking to build a rewarding position for the right applicant.

What’s on offer:
*Above-Average Salary: The provider values expertise and are willing to compensate accordingly.
*Bi-Annual Bonuses: Linked to home performance and Ofsted outcomes.
*Company Car: Access to a company vehicle once the home is established.
*Autonomy: The freedom to implement your style and management philosophy.
